The service

StoryWeave uses AI to generate personalized bedtime stories, illustrations, and narration from the family information you provide. Generated content is created automatically and may contain inaccuracies; it is meant for entertainment, not as a factual record.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use StoryWeave. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

Your content

You retain ownership of the family information, photos, and prompts you provide ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited license to process Your Content solely to operate the service and generate stories for you. You represent that you have the right to share what you upload and that it does not infringe others' rights.

Acceptable use

• Do not upload content you do not have permission to use.
• Do not use StoryWeave to create unlawful, harmful, or abusive content.
• Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or abuse the service.
• Do not use another person's likeness or information without their consent.

Subscriptions and payments

StoryWeave offers a free tier and a paid subscription. Paid plans are billed through Stripe on a recurring basis until canceled. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

Sharing

You control whether a story is shared via link or made public. By making a story public, you acknowledge it may be viewed by others and indexed by search engines. Do not publicly share content that reveals sensitive information about a child or anyone else without consent.

Intellectual property

The StoryWeave name, software, and design are owned by us. Subject to these Terms, you may use the stories generated for your personal, non-commercial family use.

Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that generated content will be accurate, appropriate for every child, or available without interruption. You are responsible for reviewing content before sharing it with your children.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, StoryWeave is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Termination

You may stop using StoryWeave at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. On termination, your right to use the service ends, though certain provisions survive.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
